Cabin deposits hold a cabin of your chosen size and camp location until April 1, 2020. Cabin deposit amounts are applicable to your pass purchase. Should you need to release your hold, cabin deposits will be refunded according to the following timeline:
Receive a 100% refund for cabin deposits before April 1, 2020.
After April 1, 2020 if you have not completed your min pass payment, we will no longer hold a cabin for you and the cabin deposit will be non-refundable.
Once you have completed your purchase of passes, the following cancelation timeline will be in effect:
From April 2, 2020 until June 1, 2020 full cabin cancelations will receive a 50% refund of the total pass purchase.
After June 1, 2020 full cabin cancelations and individual passes (not attached to a cabin leader) are non-refundable.
Changes and cancelations of specific passes within a cabin are allowed until noon on Thurs Sept 10, 2020 as long as the minimum pass purchase for that cabin size is still met. (For example, if you have purchased seven passes for a large cabin and cancel one, you will receive a refund for the canceled pass since you are still above the minimum for a large cabin.)
Can I transfer my Cabin or Pass?
Yes! Cabins and individual passes are completely transferrable. To make transfers contact email@example.com.
If I hold 3 cabins and only keep one can I Apply my deposits to the cabin I keep?
Yes, and no. Until April 1, 2020 we can refund you or transfer your deposits to the cabin you keep as credit towards your passes. After April 1, 2020 the cabin deposits will be forfeited for the cabins you cancel.
Why the changes?
Because we are expected to sell out, our cancelation rates have risen dramatically. Whereas previously, guests would only reserve a cabin when they were certain they were attending, now we are seeing people reserve 2-5 cabins “just in case” and then cancel at the last minute if they don’t need them. Obviously, this not only hurts our ability to provide an amazing, all-inclusive festival for you at a reasonable cost, it also doesn’t allow those on the waitlist enough time to arrange plans. Most festivals do not allow any cancelations, but we know we aren’t like other festivals. That said, we hope our new policy will encourage people to make a commitment earlier and thus allow us to fill all our cabins with everyone who wants to attend!
