Bear Music Fest

Additional Info

Welcome to Bear Music Fest!

We are so, unbelievably stoked to see all of you in the mountains in September! Here are some important details that may help you plan as the festival nears.

When should I arrive?

The festival checkin officially starts Thurs afternoon at 2:00pm at the Camp Blue office - 1 Camp Blue Road, Pinecrest, CA 95364. You have the option to purchase Thurs or Friday arrival passes. Our first show is Thurs evening at around 9pm.

All guests must check-in upon arrival in order to receive your official pass wristband, welcome packet and quick orientation.

When should you leave?

Never! Seriously, there will be performances & Live Karaoke Sunday afternoon & evening as well as a beautiful sunset experience Sunday evening.  Enjoy the day of music and stay for dinner & sunset before you hit the road.  Or stay overnight and leave after breakfast Monday morning.  Either way, we will ask you to indicate your departure prior to the festival so we know how many people to expect Sunday night.

Accommodations

Your ticket includes accommodations in tent cabins at the Lair of the Golden Bear. The cabins include simple camp beds, a shelf, a lamp, and an electrical outlet. If you would like to see what the cabins look like visit our ACCOMMODATIONS PAGE.

Bedding will NOT be provided. Please bring your own bedding, pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, etc.

WHAT TO BRING

Take a look at our suggested PACKING LIST.

Meals

Every pass includes meals during the weekend from Thurs dinner to Monday breakfast.

The food is all you can eat, and prepared by the venue’s experienced kitchen staff. Meals typically include a hot entrée with salad bar and side dish options. (Due to COVID restrictions, meals will be served grab-and-go style by staff and not the traditional family style as in the past.)

The kitchen can provide vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options as well as accommodate dairy and/or nut allergies. We will request your dietary restrictions prior to festival check-in so we can meet your needs.

Feel free to bring snacks & drinks of your own to supplement your needs during the weekend.  However, remember that we are in the woods and so small (and large) animals like mice & squirrels will LOVE your snacks if you don't have them in a cooler or similar container.
