about

Red Letter Day is an LA-based group young men who are breaking on to the music scene with original lyrics and an authentic sound. They prefer to be called a "Band of Boys", rather than a "Boy Band", and have been compared to Weezer and even the Beatles! No small feat—but given the raw and mature grip of their music it's no surprise. The contrast of their boy-next-door good looks and mature sound is garnering national attention.

Following a performance in support of the 90s rock band Dishwalla at the Canyon Club, the band won the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation competition and played to a packed house at the Wiltern in LA.  Since then, Red Letter Day has performed at dozens of venues including the Whisky a Go Go, The Mint and The Rose, Fort Mason in San Francisco as well as theme parks and festivals across the country. They have opened for The Gin Blossoms, The Smithereens, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Dennis Quaid and the Sharks, Katey Segal and the Reluctant Apostles and David Cassidy! Last fall they headlined the Skate Stage at Jay Z’s Made in In America Music Festival in Philadelphia.
