Nat & Jack
ABOUT
California natives Jack Symes and Nat Lefkoff are headed to Bear Music Fest for a reunion show of sorts. They took to the stage together at last year’s festival for an impromptu performance, and we were so impressed that we decided to book them for this year’s official lineup!
Born and raised in Davis, California, Nat has toured up and down the West Coast with a variety of groups. Now based in San Diego, he's focused on creating music that speaks to the experience of being human and interacting with the ever-changing world around us.
Inspired by artists like Van Morrison and Mason Jennings, Jack Symes creates an electric blend of acoustic and indie-folk ballads. A singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, Jack relocated up to Berkeley five years ago and has been dipping into the Bay Area folk scene ever since. Jack released his debut EP Gargoyles back in December, followed up with his single "Roll Me Away" this past March.
Jack & Nat recently wrapped up their first tour of the West Coast. Covering most of the Western US, the two played around 40 shows in just about three months. They're wrapping up this musical journey at Bear Music Fest, and we couldn't be happier to have them back! Their performance this year will also feature a handful of other artists, including Jack and Nat's former bandmate Seamus Land on slide guitar and singer Brittany Hanson.
