Meet the Artists of BMF 2017

Summer is finally here, and we’re kicking off the season by announcing our first wave of artists for Bear Music Fest 2017!

Returning to BMF are the Q Brothers, whose “ad-rap-tations” of classic plays have toured the world to international acclaim, and the electronic quartet NVO, whose bass-heavy, funky-fresh grooves kept us dancing all night long at last year’s fest. 
 
We also have some exciting new additions to the BMF family...

In The Valley Below is the duo of Jeffrey Jacob and Angela Gail, whose mix of dream pop and bluesy rock is seductively compelling and totally original. Solo artist Chris Ayer grounds his pop stylings in the singer-songwriter tradition, making for music that is at once timely and soulful. Rolling in all the way from Brooklyn is Lohai, a new soul-pop collaboration between Alita Moses and Devon Yesberger. Solo artists and collaborators Jack Symes and Nat Lekoff will be combining their folky musical talents for our listening pleasure at BMF. And rounding out our first batch of artists for the 2017 festival is Minus the D, a group that's one part parody, one part hip-hop, and a healthy dash of irreverent comedy.
