Reservation Info for BMF 2024
BMF Reservations ExplainED…
We are excited you are interested in attending BMF 2024! Because we are an all-inclusive festival we don’t just sell passes, you will need to reserve a tent-cabin which includes your accommodations, food and passes for all three days.
Below is the information you’ll need to reserve your tent-cabin and claim your spot for BMF!
Our venue, the Lair of the Bear summer camp, will be handling all BMF reservations so if you already have a Lair account you can use that. If not, it is simple to create one.
Tent-cabin cabin selection is given to BMF Patrons first so consider becoming a Patron if you have a specific cabin you want or friends you want to be near. After the Patrons are placed we do the best we can can based on the preferences listed in your reservation form.
If you have reservation questions, you can still reach us at passes@bearmusicfest.com. These emails will also go to the Lair reservations team so we have an even bigger team to help you out!
Here are the important dates…
Reservations will open on January 16, 2024 and can be made through the Lair’s booking website
Log in with your Lair account (or create one) and then click on the Bear Music Fest link.
Follow the prompts to add your preferred camp (Blue is adult only), cabin size, and cabin location.
Pay the deposit to hold your reservation. You will have until Feb 28, 2024 to cancel and request a refund.
Cabin placement will begin on March 1, 2024 and you will be notified in mid-March of your cabin placement.
After cabin placement is announced, any remaining tent-cabins will be sold on a first-come first-served basis until the festival is full.
Final balance will be charged on May 1st, 2024.
I already have a Lair account, can I use that?
Yes! Just log into your Lair account and select Bear Music Fest. All your information should already be saved.
How do I get the cabin I want?
The best way to get the cabin you want is to become a BMF Patron before our general reservations close on Feb 28th, 2024. BMF Patrons provide support to our artists by raising additional money to pay for artists’ travel and fees. Patrons receive first-choice and personalized support in their cabin selection. For more information visit our Patron page.
For non-patrons, we recommend submitting your tent-cabin reservation as soon as possible after the website opens. After Patrons have been assigned their cabins, we will assign non-Patrons based on the preferences you included when you made your reservation deposit.
It’s hard to make everyone happy, but we really do try! The Lair Reservations Team are experts in this! The more information and flexibility you provide the better we can place you, your family, and your friends in the best tent-cabin possible.
What if I need to cancel? Can I roll over my deposit?
In short, no… deposits are fully refundable through Feb 28, 2024. Your credit card will be charged the tent-cabin balance due on May 1st. After May 1, 2024 reservations are non-refundable, nor can they be rolled over to next year. We highly recommend buying trip insurance if you’re concerned about needing to cancel.
To review…
You may cancel a booking on or before February 28, 2024 and receive a full refund of your deposit. (All cancellations must be in writing, such as in an email.)
All cancellations between March 14, 2024 and April 30, 2024 will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
Final Payment is due May 1, 2024.
Payments received after May 2 will incur a minimum $50 late payment fee. Unpaid reservations are subject to cancellation, and forfeiture of full deposit.
All cancellations after May 1, 2024 result in forfeiture of your entire camping fee.
If you need to change or cancel a camper in your tent-cabin, there is no fee if the rate is the same and the tent-cabin minimum is still met.
No refunds will be given after May 1 for any camper changes in your tent.
No refunds will be given for campers confirmed who arrive late or leave early.
Trip insurance is offered and is highly recommended.
The Lair of the Bear handles reservations and thus we will be following all their policies outlined in the link below.

When do reservations close?
You can make a cabin reservation up until the festival starts but we don’t suggest waiting that long. Many cabin sizes sell out within hours of our reservations opening.
Can I just buy a day pass?
BMF does not sell day passes. The festival is meant to be a full weekend experience. All reservations are for the entire festival which begins Thursday, September 5th and ends Sunday, September 8th. (We do have an option for people to stay over Sunday night if desired.)
